FACILITIES New Sikuai Island Resort
Sikuai is a private island. There is only one resort on the island, known as "New Sikuai Island Resort".
New Sikuai Island Resort is not simply a hotel to stay at - it is one of the tourist destinations in West Sumatra.
It takes ± 45 minutes from the Muara Port in Padang by our boat. Sikuai has a total area of ± 44,4 ha - 2,4 ha for the resort and the rest is covered by the natural forest and white sand beaches.
Rooms and Services
| There are 21 Cottages at the resort (each cottage has 2 adjacent rooms), 9 rooms in Long Building, 1 Suite Room and 2 rooms in Sunset Home - with a total of 54 rooms, mostly built using wood. Each room has following facilities :

There is a verandah in front of each room to allow the guests to relax on a chair and enjoy the views of the beach, forest and the neighbouring islands. |
Restaurant
| Restaurant building has a unique design and combines a mix of two styles - Minangkabau house and Mentawai house. Restaurant offers a nice view to Sumatra island, Sungai Pisang village and Pasumpahan island. |

- Welcome Drink
When you arrive at our island our staff will serve you a fresh welcome drink.
- Swimming Pool
There are 2 swimming pools - the main one is situated close to the beach and there is also another one at the viewpoint on top of the hill. - Jogging Track arround island
There is a jogging track going all around the island. It is perfect for jogging, cycling or exploring the island by motorcycle. It takes about an hour to walk all around the island. - Sunset
You can catch the sunset from the Sikuai hilltop. It takes about ± 30 minutes to climb the 369 stairs up to the top. - Sports Area
We have an area for beach volleyball as well as for football and takraw. - Water Sports
We have a range of watersport activities for our guests - diving, jet ski, fishing, snorkelling, banana boat and canoeing. Certain activities (diving and banana boat) need to be booked in advance. - Boat Rental Service
We rent traditional boats or speedboats to go visit other islands surrounding Sikuai. Boat rental requires advance booking. - Free Hotspot
We provide free wifi access at the restaurant. - Note : There will be an additional charge for all the activities that are not included in the room rate.
